Our sermons are grounded in the Biblical text and poignant to everyday life. They revisit the teachings and ministry of Jesus and challenge us to open ourselves up to the Spirit's leading-teaching us how to better follow the living traditions of Jesus. Our pastor spends hours each week in prayer and study as preparation for her sermons. We also share in Communion each Sunday in the tradition of Jesus' Last Supper. In it, we remember that we are welcome at God's table, and that God nourishes and sustains us. To ensure that all who would like to participate are able, we practice communion with non-alcoholic grape juice and have the option of gluten-free bread by simple request. No one should be excluded from God's table! |
