Rev. Vicki Copp, DMin. PastorI was born Vicki Honea in Mesa, Arizona and grew up as a preacher’s kid in Arizona and Southern California. From my earliest memories, I had a relationship with Jesus and at the age of nine, I gave myself to him in as complete a way as a nine-year-old can. I went to Point Loma Nazarene University and graduated with a BA in music education in 1977. Dan Copp and I were married in Vista, California the day after we graduated and moved to Sacramento. In 1980, we moved to Kansas City and I taught stringed instruments in KCK, so Dan could attend Nazarene Theological Seminary. In 1983, we lost twin daughters at their premature birth just prior to Dan’s graduation.
Our first church was in Oakland, California. Two daughters were born while we were there. In 1987 we moved to San Diego to pastor the Mission Church of the Nazarene. While there, God called me to preach. By the grace of God and with the encouragement of my family, our church and our district, I was able to respond in obedience. I worked on the pastoral staff in the areas of Worship and Bible Study Ministries. In 1997, I was ordained on the SoCal District and received my Master of Arts degree in theology from PLNU. In 2000, we moved to Arizona where Dan was appointed as District Superintendent. There I had the opportunity to preach and speak and serve as the Director of the Arizona District School of Ministry. I taught online at Nazarene Bible College for several years starting in 2002. In September 2005, we moved to KCMO and I became an Assistant Professor of Practical Theology and Director of Supervised Ministries at Nazarene Theological Seminary, where I finished my Doctor of Ministry degree in 2007. From 2010-16, I served as Associate Pastor at Overland Park Church of the Nazarene in Kansas. In 2016-17, I served as an associate pastor at True Light Church of the Nazarene in KC’s urban core and for six years served as the chair of their Compassionate Ministries Center. I was elected pastor of Cameron Church of the Nazarene in December 2018. My husband and I have two wonderful daughters. Mackenzie is married to Bob Wood and has two daughters. Megan is married to Ryan Albaugh and has a son and daughter. |
Mackenzie Wood - Worship Leader
Mackenzie has been involved in music and worship ministry since childhood and loves to praise God through music. Originally from the Southwest
(San Diego, CA and Gilbert, AZ) she came to Kansas City to attend graduate school at UMKC. While earning her Master’s in Music Composition she began leading worship at the True Light Church of the Nazarene and felt God leading her to pursue vocational ministry. She has been working as a worship leader since then and still uses her skills as a composer to arrange music for various instrumentalists in the congregation and to compose original songs for the church. She believes that wide congregational involvement is more important than musical excellence and is passionate about songs with lyrics that are deep, true, and formative. In addition to her work at the church, Mackenzie also teaches music lessons and works as the preschool program coordinator at the Cameron Public Library. She and her husband Bob have two daughters, Evelee & Abigail.

Elaine Dean, Director of Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries- NDI
I am a farm girl at heart and I was the youngest in our family. My parents have both "graduated" to their eternal rewards and my brother passed away as
a young adult. My sister, Dorothy, lives in Kansas City. I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior when I was young. As a lifelong Nazarene, I have served many roles in the churches where I attended. After earning my bachelor's degree from Mid-America Nazarene College (now University), I taught choral and instrumental music for 8 years and I retired from an administrative position at the University of Kansas in Kansas City.
My husband, Dr. Greg Dean, and I met in the singles Sunday School class at Overland Park Church of the Nazarene. Our friendship grew into love
and we were married in 2008. We now live in Bethany, MO, where he is a family physician. Our family includes two Siamese cats, Junior and Josie.
Classical & Christian music are my favorite and I enjoy learning about quilting. My hobbies include reading non-fiction books on many topics and historically based novels, playing bridge, as well as all things feline.

Paula Williams, NYI President (Nazarene Youth International) and Youth Leader
I was born and raised in Excelsior Springs, MO where I attended the Church of the Nazarene from a very early age. I am the youngest of three kids.
Both of my parents are with Jesus. I graduated in 2006 from Excelsior Springs High School. In 2010, I landed here in Cameron where I began attending CCN. I have served in several ways since I began attending, but I fully believe this is the biggest role the Lord has called me to! I wear many hats here at Cameron Nazarene. In addition to being the NYI President, I also run our weekly livestream on our church Facebook, I am apart of our worship team and I handle a lot of our social media/marketing aspects! I truly feel so blessed to be apart of this church family! My hope for the youth here at CCN is that they will see Jesus in not just me as their leader, but those around them. I want this to be a safe space for ALL the youth who walk through our doors. I want them to know that they are valued, loved and cherished children of God.
Love God. Love people.
I have two cat children, Bowie & Luna. I am also a proud Great Aunt to THREE Great Nephews… yes… you read that correctly! I work full-time at the
News Press Media Group where I am a Multimedia Marketing Consultant.
