The Cameron Church of the Nazarene exists to make a positive impact for Christ on every household in Cameron.

We are a missional church that seeks to not just draw people to the church to meet Christ, but that seeks to go out into the community to take Christ wherever we go. We are striving to recognize the fact that wherever we are, we are Christ’s ambassadors. Whether it is in the check-out line or at work or talking with friends, Christ is wanting to impact the lives of people all around us. Therefore we strive through our words, our actions, our compassion, and our faith to minister to all people in whatever ways that Christ equips and calls us.

An image that helps us remember why we exist is a drop of water breaking the surface of water. In the same way that that small drop makes a huge impact on all the water surrounding it, so we strive in our worship services to not just be filled with God’s presence, but to be filled with God’s presence so that we can take it out into the community around us and radically change it.

Agreed Statement of Belief. These are the beliefs Nazarenes hold to be true:

• We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
• We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
• We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
• We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
• We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
• We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
• We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
• We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
